'Rock the Block' Season 8 Will Take Place in Nashville
Season 8 of HGTV's competition series Rock the Block will air in 2027. We have all the details.
Rock the Block Season 8 is a go! Two teams of returning designers and two teams of television design legends will battle it out on a new block just outside Nashville, Tennessee. The new season will premiere in early 2027.
What to Expect From the New Season
Rock the Block Season 8 will feature seven fresh episodes hosted by carpenter, craftsman and design expert Ty Pennington. Armed with Music City inspiration and decades of design and renovation know-how, four dynamic teams of experts will take the stage for a home reno showdown highlighting classic Southern architecture and small-town living. The prize: ultimate bragging rights and a street named in the winning team's honor.
In a Rock the Block first, this season will spotlight homes that offer identical floor plans and square footage but unique exterior facades. Each team will have seven weeks and a $275,000 budget to transform the properties with their signature vision and custom design style and clinch the highest appraised property value.
Who Is Competing in Season 8?
This season features two teams of former competitors looking for another chance to win it all and two teams of design legends who are new to the block.
The returning designers are: past Rock the Block Season 2 champions and married real estate developers Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt (hosts of 100 Day Dream Home) and real estate, home renovation and design pro Mina Starsiak Hawk (host of Good Bones) paired with real estate expert and contractor Scott McGillivray (of Renovation Resort Showdown). The newcomer design legends are: interior designer, television host and author Sabrina Soto (host of The High Low Project) with real estate developer and designer Anthony Carrino (of Kitchen Cousins) and Trading Spaces icons, television host and Broadway star Paige Davis with builder and designer Carter Oosterhouse.
