Open Concept Living Room With Exposed Beam Vaulted Ceilings

Re-pitching the roof line created the opportunity to create a much more dramatic space with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and lots more natural light. The living space also features new hardwood floors and a oversized chandelier. The open concept space allows a sneak peek at the kitchen and sunroom.

Inviting Foyer and Living Area With Exposed Beam Ceilings

An obtrusive utility closet, just inside the front entrance, was removed to facilitate the creation of a welcoming foyer that flows naturally into the main living area. A soft, gray tufted sofa, high-backed wooden bench, chandelier and exposed beam vaulted ceilings all add to the inviting vibe of the space.

Updated Living Room Design

The living room is furnished with a charcoal gray area rug, contemporary sofa and leather chairs, and a foyer bench just inside the front door. The natural wood finish of the new doors provides a warming counterbalance to the cool gray walls and white trim.
