Kitchen Makeovers: Team Jonathan + Kristina
Team Jonathan Knight and Kristina Crestin's (Farmhouse Fixer) "Modern Farmhouse" kitchen wowed judges Dave and Jenny Marrs (Fixer to Fabulous) with a gorgeous rounded island, statement range and cozy wooden ceiling beams.
Kitchen Makeovers: Team Page + Mitch
Team Page Turner and Mitch Glew's (Fix My Flip) “Alpine Chic” kitchen was designed to be an entertainer’s dream home. With double marble islands, floor-to-ceiling wine racks and incredible storage space, they definitely hit the mark.
Kitchen Makeovers: Team Michel + Anthony
“Mountain Modern” was the inspiration for Team Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle's (Luxe for Less) design which showcases classic Colorado style with a contemporary spin. An architectural island, tons of texture throughout, soaring cabinets and striking rounded doors prove this design duo is one to watch.
Kitchen Makeovers: Team Bryan + Sarah
The alternative layout of Team Bryan and Sarah Baeumler's (Renovation Island) "Aspen Chalet" kitchen shocked and delighted the judges. Described by Bryan as a “living kitchen,” the space is more than just somewhere to cook. It was designed as a space where life happens. From homework to games to enjoying meals together, this kitchen is meant to be an extension of the living space.
Living Room Makeovers: Team Jon + Kristina
Jon and Krystina gave their space a melodic moment by installing a wireless speaker system, which greeted judges Mina Starsiak Hawk (Good Bones) and Jenn Todryk (No Demo Reno) upon arrival and in Jon’s words, “sets a vibe.” The addition of a large accordion door makes the most of the jaw-dropping view outside, and a fireplace outfitted in vertical bricks adds drama and the illusion of higher ceilings.
Living Room Makeovers: Team Michel + Anthony
In Michel and Anthony’s living room design, an expansive green sofa adds rich color to an otherwise neutral space, while rich texture in the side chair and throw mix well with subtle prints to create interest without distracting from the spectacular view outside.
Living Room Makeovers: Team Page + Mitch
Library-style shelving in Page and Mitch’s living room instantly grabbed the judges’ attention, while a moody porcelain fireplace set the perfect balance between light and dark. Jenn noted how well-equipped the home felt for single adults and families alike, which checked Page and Mitch’s box for creating a truly livable space.
Living Room Makeovers: Team Bryan + Sarah
In their living room design, Bryan and Sarah opted to keep the focus on the beautiful mountain view outside, leaving the interior as neutral as possible. Furniture is aligned to facilitate conversation while also keeping the gorgeous view outside top of mind.
Main Bedroom Makeovers: Team Bryan + Sarah
The sophisticated main bedroom in Bryan and Sarah’s Aspen chalet was enough to elicit a synchronized “wow” from judges and twin sisters Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis (Unsellable Houses). A wet bar garnered the most attention, while the judges admired the overall simplicity and calming design style.
Main Bedroom Makeovers: Team Michel + Anthony
Michel and Anthony wowed the judges with ombre walls and French doors leading to an added deck that makes the most of what Lyndsay and Leslie considered the best view from the house.
Main Bedroom Makeovers: Team Jon + Kristina
Jon and Kristina’s main bedroom makes a major statement with a deep green hue on vertical wall paneling throughout. Carrying that opulent green on to the room’s many windows constructs a look of custom framing for the breathtaking views outside.
Main Bedroom Makeovers: Team Page + Mitch
The wooden wall feature behind the bed is its own moment in Page and Mitch’s main bedroom. While they chose to keep the rest of the walls simple, they added interest in the form of graphic art, unexpected lighting and a trio of textural benches at the foot of the bed.
