After four weeks of incredibly hard work, a winner of Rock the Block has been named! Besting challengers Leanne Ford (Restored by the Fords), Mina Starsiak Hawk (Good Bones) and Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab), Jasmine Roth's (Hidden Potential) stunning California coastal transformation delivered the highest appraisal value and the grand prize—bragging rights and a street named in her honor. Throughout the Monday night series, the four competitors faced-off to max-out identical properties in the Los Angeles area with the goal to add the most property value to each home. Series host Drew Scott, a real estate expert and star of Property Brothers: Forever Home, and his team of local real estate experts did a full top-to-bottom walk-through of the newly renovated homes—and, in the final dramatic moments, Drew announced the winner.

“My strategy during this entire competition was to save money on the master suite and kitchen so that I could spend big on the rest of the house,” said Jasmine. “Even after installing the pool, I had a lot of money left over so I could go all out, earn the highest appraisal and win this thing.”

Coming in at $1,020,000, Jasmine secured her place as the winner by turning the den into a fourth bedroom with an en suite bathroom, carving a powder bath out of the laundry room and converting the garage into a home gym with climbing wall. These added spaces, along with the oasis-style backyard featuring a pool and wet bar, scored the biggest dollar signs with the appraisers.

“I still can’t believe I just won Rock the Block,” exclaimed Jasmine. “I didn’t see it coming! Everyone was here to compete, but, at the end of the day, I came out on top.”

The competition has ended for now, but HGTV and Rock the Block will fight childhood hunger by providing 100,000 meals to kids in need through Turn Up: Fight Hunger. The new partnership between Discovery, Inc., the global leader in real-life entertainment, and No Kid Hungry, is a national campaign dedicated to ending childhood hunger and will provide one billion meals for kids facing hunger in the U.S. over the next five years.

Across the network’s digital platforms, fans can watch the full episodes of Rock the Block on HGTV GO. Fans who want to see more of Jasmine can watch her create DIY holiday projects in A Very Brady Renovation: Holiday Edition, premiering on Monday, Dec. 16, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The episode reunites the six Brady siblings to deck the halls of the iconic Brady Bunch house during the merriest time of the year and features appearances by Jasmine and Food Network’s Ree Drummond, star of The Pioneer Woman. Jasmine also stars in her own series, Hidden Potential, currently airing full episodes on HGTV GO.

Congratulations again to Jasmine Roth and to all the Rock the Block designers!
