Grid Wall Shelving

No power tools are required to make this super simple and functional Grid Wall Shelving.

Materials Needed

white gridwall panel
wood board (same length as panel)
scrap leather (at least 20” x 5”)
tape measure
fabrics scissors

leather hole punch
at least two sets of metal snaps
setter
hammer
craft knife

For Styling

binder clips
S clips
paper clips

cork board
desk supplies like washi tape, scissors, etc.

Step 1: Cut Leather Straps

Measure leather straps 1.5 inches wide and whatever length will wrap around your shelves. Cut straps.

Step 2: Punch Holes

Use leather punch to make holes on each end of the straps.

Step 3: Attach Snaps

Grab your snaps and follow package instructions to attach to leather. A hammer and metal stylus will help make your snaps tight. Be careful to attach snaps in the right direction on both sides, so that they can snap together.

Step 4: Attach to Grid

Attach a 5"-wide wooden board to your grid wall with the leather straps.
