How to Make a Modern Grid Wall Organizer

Materials Needed
- white gridwall panel
- wood board (same length as panel)
- scrap leather (at least 20” x 5”)
- tape measure
- fabrics scissors
- leather hole punch
- at least two sets of metal snaps
- setter
- hammer
- craft knife
For Styling
- binder clips
- S clips
- paper clips
- cork board
- desk supplies like washi tape, scissors, etc.

Step 1: Cut Leather Straps


Measure leather straps 1.5 inches wide and whatever length will wrap around your shelves. Cut straps.
Step 2: Punch Holes

Use leather punch to make holes on each end of the straps.
Step 3: Attach Snaps




Grab your snaps and follow package instructions to attach to leather. A hammer and metal stylus will help make your snaps tight. Be careful to attach snaps in the right direction on both sides, so that they can snap together.
Step 4: Attach to Grid


Attach a 5"-wide wooden board to your grid wall with the leather straps.
Step 5: Decorate + Enjoy
