Chip and Joanna have a secret to share.

Not long ago we reported on Chip and Jo's  joyful news that a fifth Gaines kid was on the way. After the initial excitement and congratulations, what was on our minds — as well, we're certain, that off Drake, Ella, Duke and Emmie Gaines — came down to a numbers question. So far it's been even-Steven in the Gaines household: two girls, two boys. (Three of each if you count mom and dad.) The new baby, little brother or little sister, will be a tie-breaker.

Close observers will note a theme in the naming convention of the Gaines kids thus far. The boys get "D" names and the girls get "E". Would new-baby Gaines be a D or and E?

Chip put in his two cents when Joanna posted an ultrasound video on Instagram. "Chip swears he can already tell it's a boy," she said. Another boy for team Gaines? Maybe.

And so we waited.

Fast-forward to today. It's "I-told-you-so day" for Chip as he lets on that his first intuition was right on the money. And in true Chip Gaines form, he did so in a novel and heartwarming fashion.

In a video posted on Twitter, when Chip met a little boy named Gage at a Tim Tebow Foundation event, he asked for help picking a name for their new family member. "It's a little boy, and I need a ‘D' name," Chip told a positively gleeful Gage, "and so far, all I can come up with is Dragon."

Chip readily acknowledges that the name of "Dragon" may not fly with Mom Gaines, but it's a genuinely touching moment. "If we're going to announce the gender of our 5th child," Chip said in an accompanying tweet, "It might as well come from my new friend #Gage. Take it away my man. @tebowfoundation."

Thank you, Gage, for helping get the word out to the world.

And to you, Mr. "Dragon" Gaines, even if you get another first name, we can't wait to meet you!
