Our Predictions for the Scott Brothers House Party Tour
'Property Brothers' Drew and Jonathan hit the road with a very special tour to celebrate their new book.

Jonathan and Drew Scott’s memoir, It Takes Two: Our Story, drops on September 5th. We’re sure they’d do a bang-up job of performing dramatic passages at bookstores around the country, but the brothers have a tendency to think big—and they’re introducing their latest project to the world with a series of everyone’s-invited house parties. (Seriously, everyone’s invited: Get tickets to the tour stop nearest you here.) They aren’t revealing too much about what’s in store for attendees, but based on highly scientific observations of their behavior, we have a few educated guesses.

There will be singing
Jonathan and Drew released a country music EP for Property Brothers at Home on the Ranch two years ago, when they headed west to renovate a friend’s cabin in the Rockies. A betting man (or woman) would place their money on their singles, “Hold On” (which debuted at number 38 on the Hot Country Songs chart) and “Let the Night Shine In.”
A truly savvy gambler would note that you can take the twins out of the Saturday night family campfire singalongs, but you can never truly take the singalongs out of the twins. We’re keeping our ears perked for some Willie Nelson (perhaps “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before”?) and maybe even show tunes (The Scotts take their karaoke seriously: “sometimes we’ll do “Summer Nights” from Grease and Drew plays the lady parts,” Jonathan has said).

There will be magic
Jonathan’s an award-winning, Vegas veteran, card-carrying member of the Academy of Magical Arts, so we know to expect some sleight of hand.
Will some of his old-school stage aesthetic (on full display in flashback photos in the brothers’ memoir—which is included with every ticket, BTW) make it to the tour? Will he saw Drew in half, or perform a daring escape from a cramped studio apartment onstage? Only their costume designer and stage manager (and insurance company) know for sure. Consider this vintage performance clip and prepare accordingly.

There will be celebrity guest appearances (in Drew’s head)
If, in theory, you heard voices and one of them sounded like Vin Diesel, you’d share that with your fans on your behind-the-scenes national tour, right?
Right.

The audience will end up onstage (and the Brothers will end up in the audience)
What’s a house party without a bit—okay, a great deal—of mingling? Wear comfortable shoes and bring design questions, for there will be games. And consults.

And a lot of fourth-wall-breaking, as it were. (They love their demolition, those Scotts.) Fancy a more extended chat with the hosts? VIP tickets include a meet-and-greet with Jonathan and Drew and more Scott Brothers goodies.
It Takes Two is about much more than song and spectacle, of course: Jonathan and Drew are celebrating lifetimes of laughter and learning as brothers, entrepreneurs, and world-class Canadian hams. The tour is their uncensored take on adventures that haven’t made it to television—expect the unexpected, folks.
