Back in January, it was announced that Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is coming back with 10 brand new episodes. Ever since the announcement, many have been wondering how and when they can apply to be on the show. Well, good news: family casting starts today!

The search for people who deserve a new place to live is officially on and those who are interested in applying or nominating a family can visit this link. The iconic home renovation show is looking for families who have uplifting, inspirational stories and give back to their communities despite personal challenges. Unlike the original series, this time around the search is being expanded beyond current homeowners to include renters and people interested in relocation.

The website will provide information on how to apply or nominate a family for consideration. Submissions will need to include photos of the family and of their current residence. There’s also space to upload a 2-minute video to tell the family’s story.

The new season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on HGTV will showcase superstar experts in a weekly race to complete a custom, extensive renovation for one deserving family. The series, which is expected to air in 2020, will be available on demand across all authenticated platforms and on the HGTV app.

Fans can follow HGTV's Facebook and Twitter and follow Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates. Join the conversation by using #HGTVEXTREME.
