Marie Kondo Has a New Line at The Container Store to Help You Get Organized
These storage solutions definitely spark joy.
If clutter is piling up, it’s probably time to pair down and get organized. That’s a lot easier when you have the right storage products, and we are so excited that the queen of organization just dropped a new line. Marie Kondo, founder of The KonMari Method for cleaning, now has a collection of organizational products at The Container Store. The line was designed not to simply contain stuff but to “maintain a tidy home.” And these baskets, bins and more are as pretty as they are smart with materials such as modern bamboo, sophisticated rattan and matte ceramic. It’s a subtle, chic Japanese take on what’s usually boring plastic. We’ve poured through The Container Store x KonMari and noted our favorite products and accessories by top problem areas below. Shop our picks and tackle your clutter in style.
Closet Organization
It's so easy to let a closet become total chaos, but with the right accessories, you can really maximize your storage space. Marie's new closet collection is packed with space-saving bins, hangers and trays that are incredibly soothing to look at, from natural bamboo drawer organizers to minimal-chic cloud hangers to a very pretty linen jewelry box.
Kitchen Organization
When you think about organizing a kitchen, you probably think of messy drawers or cabinets, and while the new kitchen collection features nifty pantry bins and drawer inserts, this line also took a deep dive into the world of fridge storage. Who knew organizing a refrigerator could be so beautiful? The collection features brand-new ceramic bins, jars, colanders and more to create an efficient and serene fridge.
Home Office Organization
If 2020 turned your dining room table, guest bedroom or any other random nook into an unexpected home office, chances are it's in disarray. Marie is here to help with the most stunning desk organizers we've ever seen. These document bins, letter sorters, filing sleeves and more are perfect for creating a more professional, streamlined workspace or even a homework command center.
Storage Solutions on Sale
There's no denying these new KonMari products "spark joy," but with the complete storage system for each collection priced at about $150, the products may not fall within everyone's budget. However, The Container Store has some great deals for the new year such as select hangers 15 percent off, shoe storage 20 percent off and filing cabinets 25 percent off. There's also a pretty robust clearance section. We spotted several great buys 20 to 30 percent off, from drawer organizers to cloth bins to stackable trays. We're sure Marie would approve of these, too.
