I Upgraded to a Smokeless Fire Pit, and Here's Why I Chose the Breeo X24

I say most of the time because, to be honest, there's no such thing as a truly 100 percent smokeless fire pit. You're still burning wood, after all. Right out of the box, the Breeo X24 made a strong first impression. It arrived fully assembled, which I appreciated, with no tools or confusing steps required. I gave the manual a quick read, especially the part about how to build a proper fire, since this was my first time using a smokeless pit. It included some helpful tips I followed, and they seemed to work well.

Fuel and Lighting Test: I used regular hardwood logs and built the fire just as they outlined, starting with kindling and stacking the logs with room for airflow. The lighting process was easy, and the fire caught quickly. It didn't take long before I had a steady burn going, and I could already tell the airflow system was doing its thing.

Flame and Warmth Test: Once the fire was fully going, the flame looked great. It was strong, even and warm. It wasn't wildly flickering everywhere, just a nice, steady burn that felt perfect for sitting around with a group.

Smokeless Test: This part was more of an observation than a formal test. Like I mentioned earlier, there was a little smoke at the beginning, but once the fire really got going, it was noticeably low-smoke. The design keeps it from blowing in your face.

Ash Clean-Up Test: The Breeo doesn't have a built-in ash pan, so once everything cooled, I scooped the ash out manually. It wasn't hard, especially since the fire pit's open design gives you good access.

What the Breeo X24 Smokeless Fire Pit Could Do Better

It doesn't come with a lid or cover.

For the price, I expected at least a basic cover to be included instead of having to buy it separately.

The accessories are expensive.

There are a lot of cool add-ons, but the cost adds up quickly if you want to customize your setup.

It's not exactly portable.

At over 60 pounds, it's heavy and not something you'll want to move around very often.

Cleaning out the ash takes effort.

There's no built-in ash pan, so you have to manually scoop out the ash once the fire's out and everything cools down.

Bottom Line: Is the Breeo X24 Smokeless Fire Pit Worth Buying?

If you're looking for a fire pit that's going to last and that will give you that cozy, campfire feel without all the smoke, the Breeo X24 is absolutely worth it. It's a big investment, but after going through multiple cheap fire pits over the years, I feel good knowing this one is built to stick around.
