Turn trash into treasure by upcycling empty paper towel rolls into glittering Christmas tree ornaments. Cut the roll into 12 half-inch sections, then glue together into a snowflake shape. Finish with decoupage glue and glitter.

Arrange six sections into a snowflake-like shape with the points meeting in the middle. Glue them together using a hot glue gun.

Use a small paintbrush to apply decoupage glue to the ornament, then sprinkle with glitter in your color of choice. Work a few sections at a time so the glue doesn’t dry before you start glittering. Let dry, then touch up bare spots with another coat of glue and glitter, if needed.

Cut a length of ribbon, about 10 inches. Glue the ends of the ribbon to the underside of the ornament to make a loop. Hang from your tree and enjoy the sparkle!
