Bio

Jacquelyn has been producing lifestyle content for over 20 years. In that time, she’s seen trends come and go and come back again. She is a master gardener certified through the University of Tennessee. She loves all things home renovation, baseball, boats and the beach.

Jacquelyn is originally from Long Island and now lives in Knoxville, TN, with her husband John (check out some of his work on HGTV.com) and their two sons. When not working in her garden or doing a project around her house, Jacquelyn often volunteers at local community and botanical gardens.

Highlights

  • 20+ years of experience writing and editing home improvement, gardening and how-to content.
  • SEO optimization editor working on keyword analytics to enhance site performance and traffic.
  • Shopping and product-testing editor for HGTV.com and FoodNetwork.com.

Experience

Jacquelyn has produced content for lifestyle brand websites, including HGTV and Food Network. She was a regular contributor to the Travel Channel's website when they created original travel content and she was the lead editor on the now-defunct DIYNetwork.com.

Jacquelyn is well-versed in creating various types of content such as step-by-step how-tos, in-depth buyer’s guides, commerce round-ups and photo galleries — all covering a plethora of topics including home improvement, decorating, gardening, entertaining, holidays and travel.

Before working in lifestyle digital media, Jacquelyn worked as a technical writer creating training manuals for a large medical-imaging manufacturer (hence her ability to explain things really well).
