A fun-filled evening around a fire is hardly complete without marshmallow roasting. And while you could opt for a pointy stick, we prefer to avoid the splinters and use one of these adorable DIY roasting sticks instead.

Materials Needed

  • (4) 1-3/4” beads
  • wood block
  • large vice grips
  • paint (optional)
  • drill + 1/8" bit
  • 36" food-safe brass rod
  • wood glue

Begin by prepping the four 1-3/4-inch beads. Use vice grips and a wood block to hold each bead, and drill a 1/8-inch hole through three of them, leaving the fourth as is. Paint and decorate the beads to liven them up before attaching them to the brass rod. Once dry, slide each bead onto the end of the rod, applying a dab of wood glue between each one. Once the glue has set, these totally fab roasting sticks are ready for the fire!
