How to Make an Upcycled Denim Wreath
Use an old pair of jeans and a few simple materials to make a stylish wreath.

Materials and Tools
- 1-2 pairs of jeans
- wreath form
- fabric scissors
- circular object for tracing
- chalk
- hot glue gun and sticks
Cut Jeans

Cut jeans right under the pockets (Image 1) and at the seam (Image 2) using fabric scissors.
Trace + Cut Circles

Spread cut denim on flat surface (Image 1). Use a circular template and chalk to trace circles on denim (Image 2). Cut the circles out with fabric scissors (Image 3).
Make Denim Flower Petals

Fold a denim circle in half with the good side of the fabric facing in (Image 1). Apply a dot of glue to the middle of the folded denim, and fold again. Press and hold until adhered (Image 2). Repeat these steps, leaving a denim circle untouched for every five petals you make (Image 3).

Apply a dot of glue to the bottom left of a denim circle (Image 1). Press a denim petal onto the glue until it adheres to the denim circle (Image 2). Repeat this step for the bottom right, top right and top left and lastly, the center, until the denim circle is covered with denim petals (Image 3). Repeat these steps to make enough denim flowers to cover your wreath form (Image 4).
Attach Denim Flowers

Apply hot glue to the wreath form, and attach denim flowers until the form is completely covered.
