These Are Leslie Jones' Favorite HGTV Shows

Comedian Leslie Jones is bringing her signature humor to HGTV as the host of Roast My Rental alongside designer and Help! I Wrecked My House star Jasmine Roth. The new series premieres Friday, July 24, at 10|9c on HGTV. Together, Leslie and Jasmine tour some of America’s most outrageous short-term rentals, roasting every questionable design choice before flipping the properties from sham to glam.

As Leslie puts it, “We actually say what people have been thinking — we point out the smells and the tiles. We’re helping people. It’s funny as hell.”

While there are a lot of interesting things to know about Leslie, here’s one fun fact we love: She's a devoted HGTV fan. When we asked about her favorite shows, she admits: “There aren’t any shows on HGTV that I don’t watch.” Still, she narrowed her list down to three favorites.

Love It or List It

A longtime HGTV favorite, Love It or List It follows homeowners at a crossroads: renovate the home they already have or find a new one that better fits their needs. Each episode delivers dramatic transformations, tough decisions and plenty of friendly competition between hosts.

"I love to see them renovate the house and show the owners how much better it can look," she says. And, of course, there's another reason she tunes in: "David [Vistentin]??? I love him!!! Get us together, HGTV. Make it happen!"

Help! I Wrecked My House

On Help! I Wrecked My House, Jasmine rescues homeowners who DIY-ed too close to the sun. Combining her construction know-how with her eye for design, Jasmine transforms disaster projects into beautiful, functional spaces.

Leslie is a fan of Jasmine both on and off screen.

"Jasmine's the bomb," she says — and after watching her rescue one renovation nightmare after another, it's easy to see why.

Fix My Frankenhouse

Rounding out Leslie's must-watch list is Fix My Frankenhouse, starring Boston-based power couple Mike and Denese Butler. The duo tackles homes that have become an awkward patchwork of additions over the years, using Mike's carpentry expertise and Denese's knack for design. During each episode, we watch the husband-and-wife duo turn these outdated and mismatched layouts into modern, cohesive homes.

Like Love It or List It, it's another show packed with dramatic before-and-after transformations — something Leslie never gets tired of watching.
