Mike Butler hosts HGTV's Fix My Frankenhouse alongside his wife Denese Butler. Born into a family of several generations of builders and artists, Mike grew up in the construction business. After college, instead of going the classic general contractor route, Mike began to specialize in design-build projects, working on everything from smaller jobs and ground-up builds in Manhattan to completing a mammoth expansion at Gillette Stadium. In 2019, Mike and Denese moved from Jersey City, New Jersey to Boston with their three boys, Ellis (6), Felix (4) and Luca (18 mo) to be closer to family. Now, Mike and Denese work with their fathers, both master carpenters, to make each project they take on in the Boston area extra special.
