Ingredients

  • 1 oz. vodka
  • 3 oz. green fruits and vegetables juice blend (such as V8 Healthy Greens)
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice
  • candy witch’s broom garnish (*instructions follow)
  • YIELD: 1 serving

Instructions

Make the candy witch's brooms, instructions below, and set aside. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the vodka, green juice and pineapple juice into the shaker and shake to combine. Immediately pour into a martini glass and garnish with a candy broom.

Candy Witch's Broom

  • 1 pretzel stick
  • 1 lemon candy chew
  • 1 orange candy chew

Magic Up Brooms

Place the pretzel stick on a plate or work surface. Unwrap and microwave the yellow candy chew for 5 seconds. Pinch two corners of the candy chew together to create a triangular shape. Use a butter knife to score lines to represent the broom's bristles. Insert the pretzel stick into the small end of the candy chew.

Unwrap and microwave the orange candy chew for 5 seconds. Roll the piece into a long thin rope and wrap some of it around the pretzel where the lemon chew and the pretzel meet. Trim away the excess using a pair of kitchen-dedicated scissors. Let stand until set, about 5 minutes.
