This 20-volt handheld vacuum cleaner gets our Best Overall stamp of approval for our Best Handheld Vacuums review for a reason. While its runtime is only 10 to 12 minutes, it handles everyday messes like a champ and has the most powerful suction on our list. Its 15-ounce dustbin and washable filter are removable for easy cleaning right in the sink with a “side door” for quick dirt disposal between vacuuming sessions. It comes with a built-in crevice tool, upholstery brush and features a patented nozzle that pivots to your preferred angle to help clean up high, down low and even in tight spaces. The compact, lightweight design and attached accessory tools make it easy to store, too. We love that the battery is integrated into the vacuum so you don’t have to store it separately, and the charging base is even mountable so you can store it in a closet out of sight — a huge pro on our list.

No scent. No spray. Rechargeable. The Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repeller gets our Best Overall pick for mosquito repellent for these reasons and more. The handheld device creates a 15-foot zone of protection against mosquitoes and provides 6.5 hours of repellency off a single charge. It also offers up to 40 hours of continuous mosquito protection per refill (refills are $19.99). Our tester loves how easy it is to use; simply remove the refill cap, open the repeller, insert the refill into the base, close the repeller and power on. Once the device is heated up (about 15 minutes), it will activate and diffuse the repellent from the refill. Plus, the tiny device is both durable and compact, making it perfect for travel. It's even TSA-approved! We love this particular product for its invisible mosquito repellency. The device is so small that you can easily disguise it if needed, but it’s also highly effective and great for using around kids (where it may be more difficult to keep mosquito spray on).

If you already have a larger upright vacuum that takes care of your more extensive vacuuming jobs, but you want something for quick pickups, cars, furniture and raised surfaces, this cordless handheld might be exactly what you need. The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Lithium-Ion Vacuum has an easy-to-empty .14-gallon dustbin, a triple-level filtration system and a 17-minute battery life. Three specialized pet tools offer optimal cleaning for various surfaces: the motorized brush tool removes embedded dirt and pet hair, the upholstery tool cleans soft surfaces and furniture, and the crevice tool cleans hard-to-reach places. It also weighs just 3.5 pounds and is convenient to keep near a pet station where small, everyday messes are likely. (One editor keeps it feet from her cats’ litter boxes to pick up that infuriating litter scatter.)

HGTV readers are as obsessed with this clip-on mini fan as HGTV editor Molly Miller is. After buying this fan to use on her kids' strollers a couple of summers ago, she praised this fan in her review for its three different speed settings, the whisper-quiet hum and surprisingly long battery life. From camping to theme park visits to neighborhood walks, you can use it almost anywhere. The fan also tilts so you can turn it in any direction and get the best breeze.

The easiest, no-brainer reusable product I’ve purchased in the last couple of years? Wool dryer balls. Wool dryer balls help keep your clothes soft and reduce static and wrinkles, but unlike most dryer sheets, wool dryer balls made from 100 percent wool do not contain synthetic ingredients or built-in fragrance. The balls also help “fluff” clothes better, meaning they can reduce drying time by up to 25 percent and cut down on the time you have to run your dryer. For small or medium loads, use three balls, and for large loads, use five to six balls at a time. Most wool dryer balls claim to last for at least 1,000 drying cycles, so you can reuse them for at least two to four years.

Say "So Long!" to stiff backs, bottoms and necks with a stadium seat designed to maximize your comfort. The polyester fabric wicks away moisture, making it breathable, while also keeping rain or water from pooling. Thick cushioning molds to your body (similar to memory foam). The backpack shoulder straps let you haul the chair with ease, and to prep for game watching, all you have to do is fold up the seat until it locks into place.

At under $100, this budget-friendly, top-rated air purifier from Levoit is our top overall pick and will meet most consumers' needs for use in a small- to medium-size bedroom, office or living room. This purifier has a three-stage filtration system consisting of a pre-filter, a HEPA filter and a high-efficiency activated carbon filter to capture allergens, pet hair, dander, smoke, mold, odor and large dust particles as well as airborne contaminants as small as .3 microns. The controls are easy to use, and with three fan speeds to choose from, the lowest setting is quiet enough to use in a bedroom overnight. This model does come with a nightlight option, but you can also completely turn off the control lights, too. The manufacturer recommends cleaning the pre-filter every two to four weeks to maintain its effectiveness, replacing the HEPA and carbon filters every six to eight months.

Economical, eco-friendly, kid- and pet-safe, and pleasantly scented, Aunt Fannie's Hardwood Floor Cleaner concentrate got top marks from our tester and in online reviews. The solution must be diluted with water before using which requires a little math but also allows you to go longer in between purchases. We like that this cleaner is vinegar-free, unlike the brand's other floor cleaner, since vinegar can dull hardwood floor's finish.

We tested Bissell's larger Spot Clean Professional model and cordless Pet Stain Eraser for our carpet cleaner review, but Little Green was the perfect in-between in terms of size, tank capacity and price. It was a really close call between the Spot Clean Pro and Little Green, but ultimately, Little Green's smaller size makes it easier to move around the house and use in the car. Because the tank size is smaller, we recommend using it just for spot treating or cleaning upholstery as water and cleaning solution ran out quickly when we tried to clean an entire rug. Our tester loved the hydro rinse tool for cleaning out the hose, a feature that's not available with the Spot Clean Pro. Removable clean and dirty water tanks make it super easy to dump and refill as needed. If you're looking for a small but mighty machine that tackles tough stains, this is our pick.
