Materials Needed

  • 12x12 card stock
  • painter's tape
  • crepe paper
  • scissors
  • double-sided tape
  • (1) faux fur sheet
  • different sized plates
  • pencil

Create Eyes

Trace around the outside of different sized plates to create multiple eyes (Image 1). Cut out all the circles, then layer multiple sizes and colors of circles with double-sided tape to create a variety of eyes for your monster (Images 2-3).

Attach to Door

Using the double-sided tape, attach the finished eyes to the door (Image 1). Use scissors to cut the faux fur sheet into eyebrows and attach with tape (Image 2). Use the painter's tape to create the mouth and add some paper teeth (Image 3). Cut the crepe paper into strips to add faux hair for the monster. Trim up any pieces that hang too long (Image 4) and your finished funky door just screams fun.
