Vanilla and Cinnamon Vegan French Toast Recipe
Calling all cinnamon lovers — your dream breakfast has arrived. This recipe takes a few minutes to make, and the ingredients are quite easy to find. Featuring hints of vanilla, these sweet toasts taste even better when topped with your favorite syrups, nut butters or fresh fruit.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond/macadamia/soy milk
- 4 tbsp tapioca starch
- 2 tbsp flaxseed powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 6-8 slices of vegan bread
- 3 tbsp vegan butter (for frying)
- toppings: maple syrup, powdered monk fruit sweetener, strawberries, etc.
Preparation:
- In a large bowl (ideally with a flat surface) whisk together the milk, flaxseeds, tapioca starch, cinnamon, maple syrup and vanilla.
- Add a teaspoon of vegan butter to a pan over medium heat and let it melt.
- Dip the slices of bread in the wet mixture and then add it to the heated pan.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. If needed, add more vegan butter.
- Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
