The trendy period drama from Shonda Rhimes' adaptation of Julia Quinn's book series, Bridgerton, has been breaking Netflix streaming records ever since its Christmas Day debut. The period drama takes place during the reign of King George IV of England, also known as the Regency era. In addition to fans loving the steamy romance and the trials of debutante society, the show has inspired what trendsetters are calling "Regency-core."
