Ingredients

Yield: 1 cocktail

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce rosemary simple syrup
  • 4 ounces grapefruit
  • rosemary sprigs, for garnish

For Simple Syrup

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 sprigs rosemary

Make Simple Syrup

Heat the water and sugar over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes, making sure to not let it boil to the point that the sugar crystalizes (Image 1). While warm, pour the simple syrup over the rosemary sprigs inside a bottle (Image 2). Set aside a few sprigs for garnishing your cocktails later.

Make Your Cocktail

To make the cocktail, start by adding a 1/2-ounce of rosemary simple syrup (Image 1), then add 2 ounces of vodka (Image 2) and top off with grapefruit juice (Image 3).

Garnish

Garnish with a few sprigs of rosemary. Cheers!
