Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tbs. unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tbs. honey
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
- YIELD: 2 cocktails
Instructions
In sauce pan over low heat, bring apple cider to a simmer. While the cider heats, mix together the butter, honey, cloves, cinnamon and ginger in a small bowl until well combined. Add the butter mixture to the cider, whisking until just melted.
Remove pan from heat, whisk in the bourbon and serve immediately. Garnish with cinnamon sticks. The drink may separate as it cools, but can be stirred back together with the cinnamon stick or a spoon.
