- 10 chargers, tin pizza pans or plastic plates
- matte white exterior spray paint
- matte black exterior spray paint

Tape Off Pans
Use painter's tape to create large X's on five of your playing pieces. (We chose upcycled pizza pans.)

Spray-Paint X's
Spray-paint the pans with black spray paint using light, sweeping motions. Let the pans dry for at least 15 minutes.

Spray-Paint O's
Using an old bucket or bowl with a 10- to 12-inch diameter, create O's on the remaining five pizza pans. Spray-paint around the bucket's edge so you’re left with a silver circle in the middle of the pizza pan.

Spray-Paint Hoops
Spray-paint the nine hula hoops with white spray paint. Let the hula hoops dry for at least 15 minutes.

Remove Tape
Remove the painter's tape off the five 'X' pizza pans.

Secure Hoops
Once the hoops are dry to the touch, secure them into the grass with tent hooks. Use a minimum of two hooks for each hoop.

Get Active
There's no pencil required for this game of tic-tac-toe, but you'll need a slight frisbee throw to ensure championship of the board. Maybe there are some alternative rules in this game's future?
