How to Make a Paper Flower Easter Basket

Materials Needed:
- small vase or pot
- scissors
- hot glue gun and sticks
Cut Paper Pattern
Download template, and print double-sided using the same pattern on both sides. Cut around the spiral template.

Create Spirals
Cut along the spiral lines until you reach the center (image 1). Using a small skewer, round chopstick or lollipop stick, start from the outside point and tightly roll paper onto itself until you reach the center (image 2). Remove the skewer, and repeat for all flowers.

Create Flower Shape
Press the paper spiral, squishing it in two directions to keep it from being perfectly round (image 1). Let go, and let the spiral unwind naturally (image 2). Repeat for all flowers.

Glue Paper Flower
Dab a small amount of hot glue onto the center bottom of the flower, and press the spiral down into the glue to keep it from unwinding. Repeat for all flowers.

Attach Paper Flowers
Hot glue flowers onto any pot or vase until fully covered (image 1). Fill with bright-colored grass filler and candy. Attach ribbon so you can hang the basket if desired (image 2).
