After David helped lottery-winner Pauline find her and her husband’s postretirement dream home on the shore of North Carolina, she had this to say:

“He’s as beautiful as he comes across on TV.”

After that truth bomb, Pauline followed it up with a chuckle, revealing that David is “hilarious.”

Dawn and Kris Share Their Horrors

In Season 8, David trekked to coastal Connecticut, where Dawn and Kris were using their lottery winnings to find a lake house.

Years later, when interviewed about their experience on My Lottery Dream Home, Kris revealed that he’d been slandering David behind his back for years. But as behind-the-scenes footage proves, there’s nothing baseless about Kris’ accusations.

“When people ask, ‘How is David? What’s he really like?’ I’m like, ‘He’s exactly like he is on the show,’” but that report comes with an asterisk.

“He just swears more.”

Exclusive footage shows David cursing at the cold Connecticut weather, as Dawn and Kris laugh in a state of sheer terror.

“He was on his best behavior around the kids,” Kris added.

So, not only does he have a potty mouth, but he also protects and cares about children? Not cool, David.
