Everywhere we turn, it seems like Drew Scott can't stop talking about growing his family with wife Linda Phan. In a recent interview with People, he said that we could possibly expect an announcement very soon. We're so excited about the future member of the HGTV family that we wanted to share why we KNOW they’ll make great parents.

They already have lots of practice.

Whether they're babysitting nieces and nephews or goofing off with kids on set, Linda and Drew already have a pretty good idea of what they will be getting into as parents. The couple is family-centric in everything they do, so it makes sense for them to add another member to the crew.

They will be great teachers.

There isn't that much difference in teaching about home renovation ideas and working with kids, right? Sometimes, the two skills even combine.

They're total kids at heart.

Disneyland vacations? Star Wars premieres? Beautiful wedding in Italy? Drew and Linda are already living out the dreams of kids everywhere, so it will be a natural fit to add in a little one to the mix.

The family adventures will be amazing.

Even if it's just picking out paint colors for their next project, we have a feeling that everything Linda and Drew do as a family is a good time. You can tell this is a couple that embodies the carpe diem spirit. Their kids will have the best childhood memories ever.

They'll fit right in to the embarassing parent cliche ... in a good way.

We're pretty confident that when their child is a teenager, they will just laugh at any eye-rolling that happens. They already meet the prerequisites for things that kids act embarrassed about (but secretly love). Madly in love and show it off? Check. Go over the top for holidays? Check. Perfectly cheesy themed costumes? Check.

Their life will stay full of laughs and love.

Even if this is just a funny filter, these two will be a fabulously good time for years to come. They'll be amazing parents, but just imagine them as grandparents!
