Inside Drew Scott & Linda Phan's Whimsical Italian Wedding

...then comes a magical, over-the-top destination wedding in sunny Italy.

Linda's colorful, hand-beaded, cathedral-length silk gown was created by L.A.-based designer, Claire Pettibone.

Tears flowed when Linda received a sweet surprise from her fiancé — an original song he penned and recorded for their special day.

Drew also filmed a music video for the song, which includes sweet clips of their big day. Watch it here.

JD Scott's fiance, makeup artist Annalee Belle, helped Linda get ready for her trip down the aisle.

Linda's mom, Barbara, put the finishing touches on her daughter's gorgeous gown.

Linda's ladies gushed as the bride stepped out in her finished ensemble.

Linda's stunning bouquet of mauve roses, cream garden roses, white lisianthus and trailing greenery was crafted by Italian event and floral designer, Vincenzo Dascanio.

Linda's dress featured an open-back design, dripping with strands of jewels.

The groom and his male relatives wore Claymore Imports kilts, made from the Scott tartan. Non-family groomsmen wore kilts in a different pattern.

Drew's sporran (a traditional pouch worn on pocketless kilts) features the Scott family crest.

Fun fact: Dad, Jim, emigrated from Scotland to Canada as a teenager with dreams of becoming a movie star (he ended up remodeling houses instead, lucky for us). As a nod to their Scottish heritage, the men of the Scott family donned traditional kilts on Drew's big day. Drew and Linda originally planned to marry in Scotland, but decided against it, citing weather concerns.

Escorted by her and Drew's respective dads, Linda beamed as she made her way down the aisle.

A gorgeous day, a beautiful Italian venue and a breathtaking floral-draped gazebo made for a spectacular spot to say "I do."

In Linda's Instagram post of this image she writes, "You both are choosing each other. You have chosen to be with someone who enhances you, who makes you think, makes you smile, makes you laugh and makes every day brighter."

Linda's bridesmaids, clad in emerald green dresses from Reformation, celebrate a post-nuptial smooch.

It wouldn't be a Scott wedding without some goofy antics!

Wedding planner, Oany Ravello, decorated the reception space in emerald green (Linda's favorite color) and pops of blush pink.

After the ceremony, Linda slipped into another Claire Pettibone design that allowed her to dance the night away in comfort and style.

Drew also changed into something more comfortable for the after-party — a custom tux by GotStyle.

The four-tiered designer cake featured four unique flavors — goat cheese and strawberry balsamic, organic red velvet, carrot and chocolate hazelnut — and was adorned with a cascade of tiny biscuits that featured the Scottish symbol for "I love" and the Chinese characters for "double happiness."

Even the light bulbs were in love!

The couple gave guests two options for "signing the book" — to add their name to a Jenga block and/or tape an instant picture into a coffee table photo album.

Drew's then-single twin brother, Jonathan, said of the couple, "The special bond they have has given me hope."

Drew's former DWTS dance partner Emma Slater and her husband, Sasha Farber, choreographed a special first dance that the couple performed for their guests.
