Follow HGTV Obsessed on Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, Stitcher, Google Podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Join Kat and Mike as they talk with Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt from HGTV’s 100 Day Dream Home. Mika is a realtor and Brian is a developer and together they help clients design and build the perfect house from the ground up in 100 days or less.

The two couples share their similarities such as growing up in Tampa and meeting their spouses in high school. Mika and Brian also discuss how they got their start in the fitness industry and then made their way into real estate and construction. The couples also chat about the best and worst parts of working with your spouse, indecisive clients and the challenges of building in an unpredictable climate.

Defend the Trend: New or Rehab?

In our Defend the Trend segment of the podcast, Kat and Mike ask Mika and Brian if they prefer to build houses from the ground up or do they like renovating old houses better. Hear their take on why saving old houses won’t always save you money.
