Our Shopping Experts Attended KBIS 2026 to Find the Best New Home Products
These are the noteworthy home appliances, fixtures and gadgets we saw on display at this year's Kitchen and Bath Industry Show.
The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is an annual tradeshow that gives brands an opportunity to showcase the latest design and technology advancements for all things home. For 2026, the show revealed a major trend towards more customization and color. The likes of door knobs and ice makers are getting a color transformation, infusing your everyday space with a cheery reflection of your preferences and taste.
Our HGTV Shopping Experts were in attendance, checking out thousands of new products, to find the best of the best to share with our readers. These are the most unique and innovative home products we saw at KBIS 2026. You can shop some of these latest-and-greatest items already, but others won't be launching until later this year.
The Brondell Coit Smart Toilet caught our attention for its promise to reduce touchpoints while using the toilet. This tankless toilet makes the most of recent high-tech trends for the bathroom, like motion-activated lids and hands-free flushing, but it takes things a step further with an integrated bidet. When all these components combine, you can have a seat, get clean and flush without using your hands — other than to operate the bidet's wall-mounted remote control.
We also saw a rise in skirted toilets, including this Brondell model. Officially, this means that the toilet's base is smooth and elongated, without following the usual curves and contours that accompany the toilet's internal plumbing. In practical terms, this means a streamlined cleaning without the need to capture dust and hair that might otherwise collect on those curvy components.
The Brondell Coit Integrated Smart Bidet Toilet will be released in April, according to the brand. The retail price will be $2,499.99.
CAFÉ's showcase of kitchen designs was a marvel to experience. Creative Director T.K. McNeal appealed to an array of tastes in her creations, from a chic and serene Italian-inspired space to a moody and richly texturized kitchen (seen here). We were drawn to the Greenhouse Garden Party Kitchen for its risk-taking color palette, high-end and innovative appliances, and natural textures — inspired by a glasshouse at dusk.
The star of the show was the CAFÉ Smart Dual-Fuel Commercial-Style Range. The impressive appliance boasts a versatile cooktop, with six gas burners and an integrated griddle. It even has two separate ovens that allow you to cook different meals at different temperatures at the same time.
We appreciate the customization offered, allowing the buyer choose between three base options (matte black, matte white and stainless steel) and six hardware options (brushed stainless, brushed black, brushed bronze, brushed copper, brushed brass and flat black). This ensures the appliance is complemented exactly to your liking, while delivering commercial quality and ease of use.
If you love the look but aren't ready to splurge on the price, we think you'll be drawn to the CAFÉ Couture Toaster Oven With Air Fry that brings the brand's innovative technology to a countertop appliance, all with the same attractive appeal.
Kohler's ongoing collaboration with interior designer Shea McGee and her firm Studio McGee was on full display during KBIS, nestled inside Kohler's expansive 15,600-square-foot booth. The brand unveiled new kitchen and bath collections that featured clean, modern silhouettes paired with of-the-moment finishes.
While we could easily showcase all the new designs in the Kohler x Studio McGee catalog, we were drawn to the Kernen Lighting Collection for its classic and timeless appeal. The One-Light Sconce may look at first glance like a traditional fabric cone shade, but it's actually crafted from elegant milk glass.
Because of the fixture's overall neutrality and balanced design, we can see it complementing most design styles, color palettes and patterned accessories. Purchase two of the sconces to display on either side of your vanity mirror for a well-rounded look that's as functional as it is beautiful.
A recurring trend we saw all throughout KBIS this year was colored sinks, including both kitchen and bathroom sinks. This design aesthetic is the perfect way to infuse playful color into your space, especially when paired with a neutral surround like wooden cabinets.
We were drawn to Toto's vibrant innovations because each color option represented a different season. Forest Green being spring, Mandarin Orange being summer, Scarlet Red being fall and Ash Blue representing winter. Each sink could easily be paired with any hardware finish, from stainless steel to matte black.
The Vessel Lavatory is available in the rectangular shape seen here, as well as an oval shape. The sinks are all made to order and ADA-compliant. We are partial to the Forest Green hue for its ability to transcend trends, but all four shades were beautiful on display. Each Vessel Lavatory retails for $536.
Brizo, a luxury brand that's known for its artistic faucets and fixtures, showcased new kitchen and bath products added to its partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The collection highlights the late architect and designer's organic and nature-influenced style, with a nod to midcentury design elements.
We were particularly drawn to the faucets and fixtures in the line that incorporated wooden touches, an innovative way to infuse warmth into the bathroom space. The handsome accent gives the traditional gooseneck faucet an instant modern boost, where this fixture staple can often be a somewhat overlooked design element.
Unlike any fixture we'd seen at the show, Brizo is introducing new takes on the faucet handle. We saw artistic handles in materials such as glass and concrete, as well as the striking spherical knobs seen here. The Frank Lloyd Wright by Brizo Widespread Lavatory Faucet is available in eight finishes and can be paired with five handle options (sold separately).
The Brio SIMPL series aims to streamline access to fresh, filtered water with an emphasis on affordability and simple, long-lasting filter cartridges. After checking out the SIMPL 3-Stage Countertop Water Dispenser, we think it would be an ideal fit for tea aficionados or anyone who needs piping hot water on demand.
This countertop water dispenser is equipped with four temperature settings ranging from 122 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit, plus room-temperature water. It also has the capacity for measured fill options, which is a plus for filling up your water bottle while checking emails or taking a phone call. We like that the touchscreen is easy-to-read and intuitive, so you can navigate the options easily.
Keeping with emphasis on ease-of-use, the Brio SIMPL 3-Stage Countertop Water Dispenser has a single, three-in-one filter cartridge that the brand claims replaces up to 13 filters found in a standard water pitcher. The Brio SIMPL filter lasts for up to 12 months or about 528 gallons of water. It's available now and retails for $299.
A long shower to wash away the day doesn't have to come at the expense of high water waste with this newest innovation from Kohler. The Anthem EvoCycle Smart Shower was on display for the first time at KBIS. The dual-mode shower features Standard Mode — where fresh water flows from the showerhead — and Cycle Mode, which recirculates water.
To keep the flow fresh, the Anthem shower system first channels the water through a filter in the shower base and adds 0.5 gallons of fresh water before sending the recirculated water back through the showerhead.
Maintenance is kept to a minimum with a Rapid Clean cycle that uses ozone cleaning after each shower. A Deep Clean cycle should be run about once a month, per the brand. The filters in the shower base are easy to remove and can be run through the dishwasher.
Other features that caught our eye with the Anthem system are a digital interface for starting and stopping the shower and setting your preferred water temperature. You can also use the Kohler Konnect app to control the shower functions or to keep tabs on your water usage.
The Anthem EvoCycle Smart Shower is available now through Kohler. It’s available in four finishes, with an MSRP that starts at $5,625.
Two frequent challenges for dishwasher users are drippy plastics and questionable cleaning for straws and bottles. Midea aims to solve these challenges with its newest three-tier dishwasher, the Midea Top-Control Dishwasher.
On display at KBIS, the dishwasher showed off a bottle-wash zone with special jets to clean the interiors of even narrow-mouthed water bottles. A special basket compartment has five individual straw holders and sits above jets that are positioned just right to send water through the straw during the cycle.
The dishwasher's sensor-based TruDry system helps to ensure that everything in the compartment is dry before the cycle completes. That includes plasticware and lids from your water bottle collection, which can be nestled into the lid zone on the top-most rack of the dishwasher.
Other top trends for dishwashers at KBIS were short cycle times and quiet noise levels. This model fits right in with a super speedy one-hour wash and dry setting and a super quiet, 44-decibel noise level.
The dishwasher will be released in June with an MSRP of $899.
A surprising trend we came across at KBIS was the use of transparent bathtubs in brands' show displays. Do we actually think this trend will catch on? Maybe, maybe not. But we loved the way bathtubs served as both a functional staple in the bathroom, as well as a decorative piece.
In the Wayfair Professional booth, we discovered this brown transparent option. It's crafted from high-quality cast stone that's a combination of acrylic and natural minerals. The non-porous material is resistant to stains, scratches and chipping, for a long-lasting bathroom option.
The elegant design naturally contours to your body, offering both lumbar and head support for relaxing soaks. And you can feel confident knowing the material will not fade or yellow over time. Whether you're building a new home or remodeling an existing one, transparent bathtubs are definitely a trend we could see growing in the next few years.

KitchenAid Smart Double Wall Oven With Live Look-In
Taking the coveted title of "Best in Show" title from the Best of KBIS Awards was the new KitchenAid Smart Double Wall Oven With Live Look-In. While the Double Wall Oven isn't new for KitchenAid, the smart camera technology incorporated inside the appliance is. The camera allows you to watch your food as it cooks, can recognize what type of food you're cooking, and will sense the doneness of the food in the oven without you having to select a time or temperature setting.
You can personalize the appliance to complement your space by choosing five hardware options: matching the unit's color, bronze, stainless steel, brass or black. You can even mix and match between the knob and bar finishes for a completely unique look. The Juniper color palette seen here flexes between an evergreen and dark blue hue, depending on the angle.
Another fun perk of the camera is that it offers a livestream of your food while it's cooking when connected to the KitchenAid app. Particularly proud of a meal? Share the video with friends or family. The oven will be available in March with an MSRP of $4,900 for the double.

GE Profile Opal Mini Nugget Ice Maker
Ice aficionados will be excited to learn that a more compact — and dare we say cute — version of the popular GE Profile Opal is set to hit retailers in July. The Opal Mini will have a 30 percent smaller footprint. While we could only admire from inside its glass display case at KBIS, it looks to be about the size of a Keurig coffeemaker.
Taking lessons learned from the full-size Opal Ice Machine, the mini version will be easy to fill with a rear water tank. The heating system has been designed to reduce scale build-up, and a side tank for extra ice capacity will be available as an accessory for purchase.
Prototypes of the Opal Mini on display at KBIS included a creamy white, soft green and particularly on-trend pastel purple. The Opal Mini will be launched by GE Appliances this summer in a soft gray finish, with other color options to follow in the fall. It will have an MSRP of $299.
Moen
Moen Magnetix Plus Showerheads
Magnetic docking for showerheads and kitchen faucets means less fumbling with retractable hoses or effort trying to snap a handheld showerhead back into place. The functionality isn't new, but Moen introduced its latest collection of magnetic showerheads at KBIS.
The Magnetix Plus Showerhead collection was on display with all three available configurations: a handheld showerhead, a combination showerhead with rainshower and separate handshower, and a compact two-in-one showerhead that offers a rainshower effect with a detachable handshower.
According to the brand, the new Magnetix Plus showerheads feature updated styling and smoother action than previous versions. We especially liked the bronzed gold finish, which is a new color option popping up in various Moen kitchen and bath collections. Described as a "neutral gold" by the brand rep, we think it's a complementary tone for a range of interior design styles.
The Magnetix Plus collection launches later this year.
