To create this maritime masterpiece, start by using a dry erase marker to outline a rectangle on the top of a watermelon. Cut out along the lines. Remove every bit of fruit from inside, and set it aside for later. Next, using the same technique, cut a circle out on the front of the watermelon where the stem was attached. Use a knife to carve the skin around the circle. Create a menacing mouthful of teeth by cutting small triangles out around the entirety of the circle.
Assemble the Shark

Utilizing the cutout rectangle, cut out a fin and tail piece. Attach the tail vertically with two toothpicks, and suspend the fin in the middle of the rectangle with a long, wooden skewer.
Fill and Enjoy

Fill this little land shark to the brim with assorted fruits, but don’t forget two very important finals touches: melon eyes! Two toothpicks and two balled melons positioned on the side of the head will really send this shark swimming and make this year’s Shark Week one to remember!
