Kids' Halloween Costume: Candy Dots
In a pinch for a clever homemade Halloween costume? No worries, you can quickly whip up this sweet costume for your child.

Materials Needed:
- (9) 2" foam balls, cut in half
- pink, yellow and blue craft paint
- paintbrush
- white top, bathing suit cover-up or dress that fits child
- hot-glue gun and glue sticks
- electric knife
- strips of candy dots
- hair barrettes
Cut Then Paint Balls
Use electric knife to cut all 9 foam balls in half to create a total of 18 halves. Paint 6 blue, 6 pink and 6 yellow and allow paint to fully dry.

Attach to Cover-Up, Dress or Top
Place clothing item on a flat surface. Starting near the top, attach painted halves with hot glue in same-color groups of 6 in evenly spaced bands (Image 1). Complete the look by folding strips of real candy dots into bows you then attach to hair barrettes with hot glue (Image 2).
