Materials Needed

  • plates
  • laser print paper
  • scissors
  • decoupage glue
  • paint brush
  • plastic card (for smoothing)
  • paper towel or cloth
  • warm water

Apply the Image

Print off any Halloween-themed images on laser print paper. Cut out each of them as close to the line as possible. Brush the image side with decoupage glue, and place it face down in the center of the plate. Using a credit card or something similar, smooth out any wrinkles to fully adhere the paper to the plate. Let dry overnight.

Remove Paper

Using a paper towel or cloth, cover the image in warm water. Let it soak for 10 minutes. Next, carefully use your fingers to rub the paper off the back of the image. Wipe off any paper scraps with the cloth, and repeat this process until all the paper is removed.

Seal + Display

Cover the image with a layer of decoupage glue to seal it. Let dry for a full 24 hours before using or displaying.
