Materials Needed
- square cork trivet
- heavyweight kraft paper in desired pattern
- quick-drying tacky glue
- double-sided tape
- scissors
- pencil or marker
- heavy, flat objects (books, magazines)
Instructions
1: Roll out kraft paper with the pattern side facing down on the table.
2: Place the cork trivet on top, and trace with a pencil or marker.
3: Cut out the traced square, creating nice, clean edges.
4: Add two to three pieces of double-sided tape in the middle of the non-patterned side of your square piece of paper.
5: Add a strip of glue along the borders.
6: Neatly place your cork trivet on top, then flip over.
7: Make sure the paper is properly aligned and make any final adjustments.
8: Place your heavy, flat objects below and on top of your mousepad and let dry overnight. This will ensure there are no air bubbles.
