Loch and Key Productions
Open the book about 1/8th of the way in. Use a clip to bind the pages to the front cover of the book. Use a straight edge and pencil to draw a rectangle inside the book.

Loch and Key Productions
Use a box cutter to score the lines of the rectangle.

Loch and Key Productions
After you score the pages, gently rip them out of the book. You may have to score the lines several times before you can tear the pages out. Leave about an inch of book pages at the bottom.

Loch and Key Productions
Use a utility knife to clean up the edges.

Loch and Key Productions
Apply Mod Podge to the inside of the book. Be sure to get all the edges of the inside of the rectangle.

Loch and Key Productions
Apply the Mod Podge to the top page of the cut out portion of the book. Lay the photo right side down, making sure to line up the photo over the rectangle opening.

Loch and Key Productions
Apply Mod Podge to the sides of the book. Let the book dry throughly.

Loch and Key Productions
Line the rectangular hole in the book with a plastic bag.

Loch and Key Productions
Remove the bulk of the soil from the base of the plants. Add in the plant to the plastic bag-lined book hole.

Loch and Key Productions
Pack in more plants. Make sure they are snug.
