Slime isn't just for kids. Use this simple recipe to make slime that's perfect for cleaning hard to reach places.

Materials

  • 2 bottles of school glue
  • food coloring
  • Borax
  • water

Pour glue into a clear bowl (Image A). Add water to bowl of glue (Image B). Stir to combine water and glue (Image C). Add in a few drops of food coloring and stir to combine (Image D).

Measure out four tablespoons of Borax (Image A). Combine four tablespoons of Borax to four tablespoons of water (Image B). Mix until Borax is completely dissolved (Image C).

Pour the Borax solution into the bowl of colored glue (Image A). Stir the glue, water and Borax (Image B). The slime will come together immediately. Stir as much as you can and then pick up the slime and begin to knead it with your hands (Image C). Knead the slime with your hands until it gets less sticky (Image D).

Store the slime in an air-tight container (Image A). When you need to clean hard to reach places, grab your slime out of the container (Image B). Use the cleaning slime to remove hard to reach gunk from a keyboard (Image C). The cleaning slime picks up the smallest debris (Image D).
