Empty shampoo bottles are wonderful resources for home organization hacks. Here are a few ways to upcycle leftover bottles into useful items around the house.
Cell Phone Holder

Choose an empty plastic bottle that is big enough to fit your phone. Cut off the top of the bottle. Then, cut off one side of the bottle (the plastic rim should come up to just under the top of the phone). Trim the back of the bottle so that it slightly curves in. Cut out a hole for the plug to fit through.
Corkboard Organizers

Cut off the tops and fronts of empty shampoo bottles. Punch a hole in the backs and decorate with washi tape. Hang on a corkboard with push pins.
Plant Pots

Cut off the tops from the shampoo bottles. Add a few rocks to the bottom to help with drainage. Plant your favorite houseplants.
Faucent Extender

Some sinks have short faucets which makes it hard for kids reach the water or fill up a container. Cut the top off an empty shampoo bottle. Then, cut away the front about halfway with a curved section toward the bottom. Make a hole large enough to fit over the faucet in the bottle. Slip the faucet extender over the faucet.
