It's not actually fall until you cozy up on the couch for your annual Gilmore Girls binge, right? Which is why HGTV is treating us to a special Gilmore Girls-themed episode of House Hunters, airing on Saturday, October 4 at 10|9c.

House Hunters Meets Gilmore Girls

Say hello to the House Hunters version of Lorelai and Rory: Sarah Elizabeth and her 10-year-old daughter, Maria. The duo is ready to say goodbye to their rented condo in downtown Atlanta and relocate to a more spacious home in the suburbs — though their idea of exactly where to settle down differs.

"My vision is a Stars Hollow-type community with beautiful, peaceful nature," says Sarah Elizabeth. Maria prefers a "city, busy vibe."

These two do agree on a few must-haves for their new home: a cozy front porch, a book nook (a la Rory) and an attached en-suite bathroom for Maria.

In classic House Hunters fashion, Sarah Elizabeth and Maria — and, at one point, Sarah Elizabeth's mom — go on an epic search for the perfect Gilmore Girls-esque home. (Fingers crossed their future spot comes with a Luke's Diner down the street.)

How to Watch

The Gilmore Girls-themed episode of House Hunters airs on HGTV Saturday, October 4 at 10|9c and will be available to stream on discovery+ starting the next day.
