One of my goals this year is to shop from more women-owned brands, and this month is a great time to start because March is Women’s History Month. If you’re looking to support more women-run businesses, check out these home brands, from handmade kitchenware to custom-designed decor to unique gifts. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite companies to outfit your entire home and support more women-owned brands.

BEDDING + LINENS

Parachute

Founded by Ariel Kaye in 2014, Parachute does basic bedding right. Not that there's anything basic about it! From percale sheets to linen duvet covers, the brand is all about a comfy, lived-in luxury. I'm also a big fan of their towels and bath sheets. In the last two years, the company has expanded to homewares, too, and just like their bed linens, their table linens have the same casual-cool vibe.

Bearaby

We're big, big fans of Bearaby at HGTV. There's no weighted blanket on the market as stylish. Founded by Kathrin Hamm, Bearaby's handknitted blankets combine form and function for a relaxing experience that also looks cute styled on a chair or sofa when not in use.

Jungalow

Jungalow started as a blog by designer Justina Blakeney, but it's exploded into a full-scale lifestyle brand and shop. With the tagline "Decorate wild," the brand focuses on jungle-inspired decor, from art prints to wallpaper. I'm obsessed with the unique designs for bedding and textiles. The quilts and throws are so colorful and full of personality.

Minted

When you think of Minted, you probably think of ordering photo prints or holiday cards, but the company founded by Mariam Naficy has so much more these days — even textiles! From tapestries to curtains, there are so many designs from women around the world to shop. I was really impressed with the table linens section because once you find a print or style you like, you can order it in napkins, placemats tablecloths and more for a complete, matching table.

Johanna Howard Home

Fashion designer Johanna Howard is designing for home these days with Johanna Howard Home. The collection features beautiful and super-soft throws through collaborations with artisans around the world.

KITCHENWARE

Estelle Colored Glass

Founded by Stephanie Summerson Hall, Estelle Colored Glass is a riff on retro-colored glass but with a modern flourish. Inspired by her grandmother, the collection of hand-blown stemware and cake stands come in an assortment of bright colors guaranteed to make you smile. These "jewels for your table" are absolutely stunning and worth the investment.

Otherwild

Retail-store-meets-graphic-design-studio Otherwild is packed with fun, funky housewares, from towels to incense scrolls. The sleek water canteens come in so many trendy patterns, styles and colors, from marble to metallic. And the company has recently expanded to snack and lunch canisters which are perfect for road trips.

Stasher

We're obsessed with Stasher bags at HGTV. You can use them for just about anything, from snacks on-the-go to leftovers in the freezer to toiletries for travel and so much more. Founded by Kat Nouri, Stasher bags are the (very pretty!) answer to ditching single-use plastic zip bags

DECOR + ACCESSORIES

Rifle Paper Co.

You’ve probably seen Rifle Paper Co. planners at stationery stores or Anthropologie and not known it’s from a specific design house. Founded in 2009 by wife-and-husband team Anna and Nathan Bond, the brand specializes in romantic floral prints that remind you of a whimsical garden or an old, beloved children’s book. And now the designs are on pillows! The new line features some seriously cute embroidered pillows that bring the paper flowers to life.

Clare

Nicole Gibbons is on a mission to make paint buying fun — Yes, fun! — with Clare, a new site full of gorgeous, designer-curated colors. There's no trip to the store necessary as you get swatches and supplies delivered right to your door.

Harlem Candle Co.

Founded by Teri Johnson, Harlem Candle Co. isn't just another pretty candle. Each luxury fragrance is an homage to a historical figure from the Harlem Renaissance.

UNWRP

UNWRP is a one-stop-shop for all your gifting supplies. Founded by Ashley L. Fouyolle, the brand features bold gift wrap, bags, greeting cards and more for gifts that really stand out and feel extra special.

The Sill

Founded by Eliza Blank and Gwen Blevens in 2012, The Sill specializes in trendy houseplants delivered straight to your door. You can even customize your planter from several modern styles and colors.

BLK + GRN

If you've never heard of BLK + GRN, you'll want to bookmark it ASAP. The all-natural marketplace founded by Dr. Kristian Henderson is supplied by all Black artisans, and what once started as just beauty and wellness has expanded to a complete home lifestyle brand with handmade ceramic watering cans and organic sage smudge sticks.

Ruggable

Only a woman would think of something so ingenious as washable rugs. Seriously, these things are literal magic carpets. Oat Cinnamon

There are floral arrangements and then there's Oat Cinnamon. The New York company, founded by Ryan Norville, creates whimsical, dreamlike arrangements with dried pieces you can keep forever such as pampas grass and bunny tails.

BAGGU

With more and more cities enacting a ban on plastic bags, you can never have too many reusable shopping bags, and BAGGU is a great place to buy them. Founded in 2007 by Emily Sugihara, BAGGU specializes in reusable shopping bags that are as stylish as they are functional. In fact, they can hold up to three times more than a disposable bag. Plus, they’re ethically sourced and manufactured and come in all kinds of trendy patterns and colors.

Fawn Design

I know baby showers are for important gifts like those fancy sleep machines and a warehouse supply of diapers, but I think every mom should have a Fawn bag. Founded by crafty mom Jenny Wecker, Fawn Design specializes in gorgeous purses and backpacks that are actually diaper bags. These incognito wonders have a pocket and a space for everything and yet still look like a trendy bag that isn’t stuffed with packets of applesauce and hand sanitizer. The company has expanded to smaller bags such as chic clutches with a fold-out changing pad.
