Halloween Sips: Crazy Eye Cocktail
Do you ever get that feeling someone's watching you?
Casamigos Tequila
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz blanco tequila (we used Casamigos Blanco)
- 2 oz lychee liqueur
- 1/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 4 basil leaves
- thick rim of salt, sugar, sandwich cookie crumbs* (equal parts)
- 2 maraschino cherries, for garnish
- 2 lychee balls, for garnish
Instructions
1: Combine the tequila, lychee liqueur, lemon juice and basil into a cocktail shaker.
2: Muddle herbs, then add ice.
3: Shake vigorously for 12 to 15 seconds.
4: Strain into a small, rimmed martini glass.
5: Garnish the cherries inside the lychee balls (as eyeballs) through a skewer.
*To add a sugar, salt and sandwich-cookie rim, wet the rim of the glass with a lime wedge and agave nectar, then roll the rim through the mixture.
