Work the Wire

Measure out the wire—we suggest just a little smaller than the circumference of your head. Cut the wire with the wire cutters and connect the two ends by twisting them together until secure.

To the Tape

One by one, add flowers to the wire loop by securing the stem with floral tape. Holding the flower stem flush with the wire, start at the base of the bloom and wrap the tape downwards over both stem and wire to cover the entire stem and attach it to the wire.

It’s a Wrap

With all your flowers attached, use the floral tape to wrap the entire crown to ensure flowers are secure, strengthen the wire and help the twine to adhere in the next step.

Twine Time

Starting at the top, beneath the flowers, tie a small knot of twine. Next, working your way around, wrap the floral-taped wire with twine to give the flower crown a finished, rustic look. Finish with a second knot close to the first (also under the blooms) in order to hide the ties.
