Materials Needed:

  • screwdriver
  • painter's tape
  • paint
  • paint brush
  • spray mount
  • vinyl letters
  • frost-effect spray paint

Step 1

Remove the glass doors and unscrew the knobs. Tape off the edges of the glass panels with painter’s tape. Paint the door frames and the bookcase frame, and let dry.

Step 2

Use repositionable spray mount to attach 6-inch-tall vinyl letters to the inside of the glass. You’ll need to flip the letters over and lay them out from right to left, so when you replace the doors the words are spelled correctly (it’s easier if a friend helps). Spray frost-effect spray paint over the letters to coat the glass. Let dry, then carefully remove the letters.

Step 3

Attach new knobs to the doors, then replace the doors on the cabinet.
