DIY Wood-Burned Cheese Board

Materials Needed

  • wood slice
  • pencil
  • wood burning pen
  • drill with spade bit
  • block oil
  • cloth
  • leather cord

Draw the Pattern

Using a pencil, lightly draw the dandelion design onto the wood slice. Slowly trace the design with the wood burning pen.

Drill, Seal and Finish

Using the spade bit, drill a hole at the top of the wood slice. Wipe off the saw dust, and use a cloth to wipe block oil over the surface. Let the oil dry. Repeat this process three times. Tie the piece of leather cord in a loop around the hole, and you're ready to serve!
