How to Make a Thanksgiving Dessert Charcuterie Board
Satisfy every sweet tooth at your dining table with this easy-to-assemble platter of cakes, pies, cookies and more.
If you want to impress your guests with minimal effort, you're in for a treat. This delightful dessert charcuterie board uses mostly store-bought seasonal favorites that'll satisfy everyone’s cravings in the most delicious way.
1. Start With the Largest Treat
Choose a serving board or platter with a rim. This will allow you to fill your board to the brim and keep small ingredients corralled inside. Start filling the board with your largest, most eye-catching ingredient, we used store-bought pumpkin roll sliced into rounds. Tile it in the center of the board.
2. Add Bowls as Anchors
Add small bowls filled with candies and chocolates as anchor points. Tile seasonal cookies, such as leaf-shaped maple creams around the bowls.
3. Fill in Around the Edges
Fill the board to the brim with store-bought macarons, caramel corn and rolled wafer cookies.
4. Mix in Some Fruit
Be sure to add a fresh bite to the board in the form of apple slices with a bowl of dipping caramel nearby. Dried apple chips also make excellent dippers for the caramel.
5. Include Some Sweet Dips
Sweetened cream cheese with cranberry sauce on top is another sweet spread for cookies or a dip for rolled wafers.
This board holds all the flavors of traditional holiday desserts, so it’s the perfect way to end your Thanksgiving celebration on a sweet note.
