Remove the lid from your glass pumpkin, and spray both pieces with a light coating of mirror finish spray paint. Next, spray the pieces down with a 1:1 mixture of water and vinegar, and blot with a paper towel. Repeat these steps six times, and allow for 30 seconds of dry time between each repetition. Just like that, the vintage mercury glass piece of your dreams is all yours! Repeat on all plain-jane glass in the home.
