Making frozen cocktails in an ice cream maker means you can prep the mixture beforehand and turn on 30 minutes before your party. This is a great option for large batch cocktails! Follow the instructions to make cocktails in your machine. Some machines will require you to freeze the bowl 24 hours prior to use. Some may require ice to freeze your cocktail. In this case, we recommend adding a layer of ice, rock salt and then another layer of ice.

PINA COLADA

Piña Colada Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 can (16 ounces) coconut milk
  • 16 ounces (or 1 can) pineapple juice
  • 8 ounces (or 1/2 can) coconut rum
  • 12 ounces ( or 3/4 can) dark rum
  • 1/4 cup grenadine

Yield: 6 cocktails

Blend one cup pineapple chunks with one can coconut milk (You can use a pre-made mix, but making it from scratch tastes way better). Next, add pineapple juice, coconut rum and dark rum.

Add grenadine for pretty coloring and a little sweetness. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker. Turn the machine on.
