Jasmine Roth Renovated a Condo For Her Mom, and It's Full of Fun Ideas to Steal

In honor of moms everywhere, Jasmine Roth, host of HGTV's Help! I Wrecked My House, is gifting her own with the ultimate renovation, and (lucky for us) sharing all the details in HGTV’s first-ever TikTok series. In eight episodes, which hit TikTok once a day beginning on May 8, Jasmine gives us the full scoop on exactly how she made over her mom’s California beach condo — from demoing to decorating, suave storage solutions and all. Get ready for lots of before-and-after footage.

"My mom is a wonderful grandma to my daughter, and when this home came up for sale right up the street, we jumped on it," says Jasmine. "I am so stoked to share this deeply personal transformation with HGTV fans because to me, no one is more deserving than my mom. It was so satisfying because when we were finished, she couldn't believe her eyes.”

What’s even more fun than watching Jasmine gut renovate the condo? Taking careful note of all the fun ideas we just have to try. Obviously, there’s tons, our favorites of which include a super-sweet doormat, click-in patio tile and a sleek storage bed. Jasmine designed the space with storage in mind, and, of course, all of her hacks are uber creative. True to her beachy-modern style, she draped the space in calming colors and relaxing textures, and made it extra-homey with affordable art, vintage accessories and personal elements that make it all feel custom.

"I think this transformation was huge," says Jasmine. "From getting new cabinets and finishes in the kitchen, to maximizing storage in the living room and creating an oasis for my mom in the bedroom. We even made the bathroom feel like a spa."
