Attach Letters to Pumpkins

Apply some Mod Podge directly onto the pumpkin, where you want your letter to be. Carefully place your letter onto the pumpkin, and press carefully with your fingers. If you have a curvier letter (like an e) this will be especially important.

Materials Needed:

  • pumpkins
  • scrapbook paper
  • Mod Podge
  • foam brush
  • twine or ribbon

Prepare Letters

Clean your pumpkins well and let dry completely. Then print and cut your desired letters (use Word to print out an extra-large letter of your choice). Lay the letter template on the back of your scrapbook paper and trace it backward (so it ultimately ends up being right side out). Cut.

Using your foam brush, apply even more Mod Podge over the top of your letter to seal it in place. Let dry completely, then tie a decorative piece of twine or ribbon to the stem.

TIP: Save your stencils! If you're using your children's initials, odds are that you will want to use them again.
