How to Bring a Desk Back to Life

Materials Needed
- white paint
- paint roller
- colored paint
- washi tape
- Mod Podge
Step 1
Paint the desktop and its edges white; paint everything else a color, and let dry.
Step 2
Cover the shorter desktop edges with a solid strip of washi tape.
Step 3
Apply strips of washi tape in different colors to the desktop, folding the tape over the desktop edges and securing it underneath. The strips of tape should touch but not overlap.
Step 4
Seal the desktop with a coat of matte Mod Podge, and let dry.
