'Home Town' Homeowner Profiles: Kenya and Coy Rice
Home Town host Erin Napier likes to get a little background and personal history on her clients and families before renovation work begins — to help get a feel for the kind of design, features and aesthetic choices that might work best in their home. Here are a few insights provided by client Kenya Rice, featured in the Home Town episode titled "Cottage Charm".
Erin: How would you describe your home and personal style?
Kenya: I love antiques and things that have meaning and tell a story. I love things that have been passed from generation to generation. Monetary value is not as important as sentimental value. is love of "all things old" inspires my home.
Erin: Tell me about your favorite childhood memory.
Kenya: Living in Laurel when I was younger, I fell in love with all of the old houses and brick streets. I always dreamed of living in one of those houses!
Erin: What colors do you love?
Kenya: Just about any color!
